T-Mobile US is funding the worst group of MAGA Politicians you’ve never heard of...meet RAGA.
The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) is a political organization that helps far-right lawyers push extreme policies as a state’s Attorney General (AG).
These far right RAGA funded AGs use their state’s legal power to end abortion access; assail LGBTQ+ rights; attack social justice; destroy our environment; assault our democracy; and so much more.
RAGA’s funders include Big Oil & Gas, Big Pharma, Big Tobacco, the Gun Lobby and… T-Mobile. Despite T-Mobile’s corporate statements about standing up for marginalized groups and democracy, T-Mobile has given $180,000 to RAGA since 2020.
Assailing LGBTQ+ Rights
WHAT T-MOBILE SAYS:
“T-Mobile doesn’t see Pride as an opportunity to promote the Un-carrier brand, nor a box to be checked. It’s about authentically engaging with the LGBTQ+ community.”
WHAT RAGA DOES:
RAGA AG Ken Paxton (TX) stated he would be “willing and able” to defend laws criminalizing same-sex intimacy
Ending Abortion Access
WHAT T-MOBILE SAYS:
“T-Mobile US Expands Benefits to Workers Traveling for Abortions.”
WHAT RAGA DOES:
In July 2022, after a 10-year-old rape victim from Ohio had to travel to Indiana to receive a lawful abortion, RAGA AG Todd Rokita (IN) threatened criminal charges against the doctor who performed the abortion.
Attacking Social Justice
WHAT T-MOBILE SAYS:
“T-Mobile stands with the Black Community. We know that systemic racism is real. It has been persistent. And it can’t be wished away. If we want a better world, we have to ACT to create it.”
WHAT RAGA DOES: During the 2020 George Floyd protests, the city of Mobile, Alabama removed a confederate statue of Raphael Semmes. In response, RAGA AG Steve Marshall (AL) fined the city of Mobile $25,000.
Assaulting Democracy
WHAT MIKE SIEVERT SAID ON JANUARY 7th, 2021: “What we witnessed yesterday was just a shock… I reached out to nearly all 80,000 of our employees yesterday to simply make it clear that we have to denounce things like we saw yesterday...”
WHAT RAGA DOES: Rule of Law Defense Fund, a RAGA offshoot, arranged for robocalls to Trump supporters urging them “march to save America” by marching to the Capitol at 1pm on Jan. 6 to “stop the steal” and “continue the fight” against the presidential election results

We urge T-Mobile to immediately stop funding the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) due to its role in restricting abortion access, assailing LGBTQ+ rights, attacking social justice, and assaulting our democracy.
Supporting RAGA contradicts T-Mobile's commitment to equality and social responsibility. We expect T-Mobile to align its funding with its values and cease supporting groups that attack fundamental human rights.
