WHAT IS RAGA?

The Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) is a political organization that helps attorneys general in red states to push extreme policies. RAGA AGs use their state’s legal power to end abortion access, assail LGBTQ+ rights, attack social justice, destroy our environment, assault our democracy, and so much more.

RAGA AGs are in 27 states. These AGs shape our country's legal agenda by determining which cases to initiate, which to elevate, and where to pursue their ideological capture of our court system based on which courts have sympathetic MAGA judges.

WHERE THE MONEY COMES FROM

RAGA is a 527 political organization, meaning it can accept unlimited donations and pay no taxes on those revenues, while spending money to aid candidates for AG offices. Leonard Leo, the architect of the MAGA hijacking of the Supreme Court that overturned Roe v. Wade, has been RAGA’s biggest funder for years. Alongside Leo are Big Oil & Gas, Big Tobacco, Big Pharma, the Gun lobby, and more.
